Below are some simple policies, etiquette, regulations and traditions of USA GOJU Karate and of the Fox Dojo

All students paid up and release signed prior to training (See the front desk – City of Weston)
Classes shall be paid in full for three month sessions – ($25.00 late fee after the 10th of the month.
Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays (Times and Fees as listed below)

Two Nights per week $200/3 months

Times: Children Juniors Adults
Mondays 6:00-7:00 7:00-8:30 (w/Juniors)
Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 7:00-8:30
SESSIONS:
Jan/Feb/March April/May/June July/Aug/Sep Oct/Nov/Dec

Policies

Karate Begins and Ends with Courtesy.

“Karate Do” or “The Way of Karate” is what we practice and as Karateka (one who practices Karate)  we apply our Karate Do not just at the dojo, but we inspire and encourage this behavior in the community, home, school and work.

Courtesy must always be shown to your Parents and to your dojo brothers and sisters.

The use of profane language will not be tolerated.

No Jewelry or watches (Earrings and any type of bracelet included).
No talking out of turn or gum chewing

No Long Finger Nails or Toe Nails. Nails must be trimmed to the skin line and be clean.

Long Hair needs to be controlled

All must Courtesy Bow in and out of the Dojo
Line up according to rank (or when you started)

Promotions

Promotions are base upon the Sensei’s discretion after a combination of time in the dojo, adeptness of technology, character, and examinations, including physical, written, and oral.

Coming to class, participating and obeying the rules are the first steps…

Promotion Fees payable to the Sensei
One and Two Stripe $25.00
Three stripe $45.00
Green , Purple, Brown Belt $55.00

Gear (See Sensei for required gear)
A plain white headband that is at least 1 inch wide is required and shall be worn at all times.
A Black Gi (Uniform) and Obi (belt) is required

Patches are required for all students who have the rank of Advanced White and higher.

USA GOJU Fist patch worn on the left side of the gi over your heart.

USAGF back patch worn on your back between your shoulder blades.

USAGF Triangle Hall Patch worn on the right sleeve just above your wrist.

Fighting Gear is required

Hands/Feet/Head Gear/Shin Guards/Protective cup and athletic support for boys.
A Mouthpiece is mandatory. Mouth pieces must be formed and trimmed to fit the teeth in accordance with the manufacturers directions.
